Home/Studio

Thestudio.

A Guernsey design and development studio, with two decades of agency work in London and Hong Kong behind it, now back home on the island.

A creative studio built on two decades of design and development, now rooted back home in Guernsey.

Harbour Studios designs and builds websites, brands and reports for clients on the island and far beyond, from small Guernsey businesses and charities through to internationally recognised names like BDO and APRU.

Design and project management have always run from here. Development was handled for years by a dedicated overseas team, and is increasingly brought in-house, so design and build stay close and nothing is lost in translation.

Simple builds run on platforms like WordPress, Shopify and Magento. More complex, custom functionality is engineered from the ground up, fast, secure and built to scale.

What we
stand for

The principles our clients notice, the reasons they come back, and recommend us.

01

Craft & detail

"High quality, responsive, and great attention to detail" is the line clients use most, and the standard we hold ourselves to on every project.

02

One accountable team

Design and development together. No hand-offs, no finger-pointing, just one team that owns the outcome end to end.

03

Clear communication

Concise strategies, swift action and regular feedback. You always know where your project stands.

04

Built to last

We don't disappear at launch. Hosting, security and support keep your project performing for years.

Behind
the studio

A Guernsey local, back home after two decades running the studio abroad.

Oliver Coquelin, founder of Harbour Studios

Hello, I'm Oliver. I'm a Guernsey local who spent many years working abroad, running Harbour Studios as a creative agency in London and Hong Kong, before bringing it home to the island.

These days I look after design, build and everything in between, working closely with every client from the first conversation through to launch and long after. Fewer hands means less lost in translation, and one person who genuinely cares how your project turns out.
