The University of Hong Kong's School of Biological Sciences was formed in 2007 from the former Botany, Ecology & Biodiversity and Zoology departments. We redesigned and rebuilt their website to attract prospective students and show the School at its best.
A responsive WordPress build with an interactive staff and faculty directory, an events calendar and a Knowledge Exchange.
The School stands for academic tradition and a nurturing environment, so the new look had to feel fresh and energetic without losing that gravitas.
Its biodiverse subject matter gave us a natural focal point: plant and animal photography anchors the design, paired with Acumin Pro and Franklin Gothic for a youthful, confident edge.
